Home Tooth Whitening
Custom trays and gel supplied to lighten your teeth gradually in your own time.
Professional whitening lifts the shade of your natural teeth using clinically proven gels in carefully controlled concentrations — either in custom-made home trays, in the chair, or a combination. It is the smallest cosmetic step with one of the most noticeable returns, and when supervised by a dental professional it is a legally regulated, safe procedure.
01
Check suitability first
Whitening works on natural enamel, not crowns or fillings — a short assessment confirms what result your teeth can realistically reach.
02
Custom trays or in-chair
Precisely fitted trays and measured gel at home over a couple of weeks, or an accelerated in-chair session — the honest pros and cons of each are explained.
03
Review the shade
Before-and-after shades are recorded, sensitivity is managed with simple measures, and top-up guidance keeps the result fresh.
Good to know
In the UK, whitening is legal only when prescribed and supervised by a registered dental professional — beauty-salon and online kits either break that rule or contain too little active gel to do much. Mild, temporary sensitivity is the most common side effect.
